The Bayer Lake Loop Trail originates on the Admiral Lake Trail. From Park Road, proceed 1.7 km along the Musquodoboit Trailway to the Admiral Lake Loop trailhead; then follow this trail for approximately 170 m to the Bayer Lake Loop trailhead. The trail veers left and climbs onto and follows the edge of the granite ridge over a distance of 800 m. The Old Mill and Bayer Lake lookoffs offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The trail then descends to the main Musquodoboit Trailway at 2.2 km.
