Become a steward of the trails, join the Musquodoboit Trailways Association!

The Purpose of the Association is

 

  • to develop and maintain the old rail line between the Musquodoboit Harbour railway museum and Gibraltar Rock as a non-motorized recreational walking, biking and snowshoe/ski trail.
     

  • to develop trail amenities as required.
     

  • to plan and construct wilderness ridge trails in the White Lake and Ship Harbour Long Lake wilderness areas
     

  • to develop and manage for recreational purposes the interconnecting lake system in the White Lake and Ship Harbour Long Lake wilderness areas
     

  • to manage and direct all trail planning and building activities in an environmentally responsible fashion to cooperate with other trail groups in planning a route for the Trans-Canada Trail to connect to the Musquodoboit Trailway.
