Volunteer Positions

• Manage seasonal and emergency maintenance of wilderness trails (brush cutting, tree clearing, structural repairs, etc.)

• Organize volunteer trail monitoring teams by region.

• Oversee trail construction and upgrades.

• Maintain and inventory tools and equipment.

• Coordinate weekly maintenance tasks such as trash pickup, toilet servicing, and fallen debris removal.

• Monitor and report trail conditions with the help of volunteers.

• Collect usage data from trail sensors and prepare summary reports.

• Record and distribute meeting minutes.

• Schedule meetings and manage communication channels.

• Pick up organizational mail.

• Assist with equipment maintenance and signage management.

• Maintain and update membership data and bench dedication records.

• Manage financial records.

• Pay invoices and maintain annual subscriptions and memberships.

• Oversee financial documentation and ensure secure digital archiving.

• Collaborate with Grant Manager on fund allocation and reporting.

• Lead planning for major trail enhancements and new infrastructure.

• Coordinate with municipal and provincial bodies, contractors, and volunteers.

• Oversee the design, production, and maintenance of trail signage.

• Align project goals with grant funding and strategic vision.
