Musquodoboit Trailways Bench Program

Dear supporter of the trails,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, once again, for your continued support of the trail. As you know, the maintenance of the Musquodoboit Rail Trail and its connected wilderness trails are managed entirely by volunteers.
There are always ongoing maintenance projects on the trails, including repairs to trail edges, removal of downed and dangerously hung up trees, updating barriers, and as of 2026, installing new accessible benches on the rail trail as part of our commitment to inclusivity and our new Memorial Bench Program.
Our new Bench Program will help fund maintenance and provide you with a memorial plaque
that will remain for a term of at least ten years, with the option to renew thereafter.
